Technical Support Specialist

TechniBlend is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our Service Team here in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting customer troubleshooting cases, service project requests, assisting with parts and project estimates, and providing technical support for equipment startups and commissioning.
This candidate will work closely with the Field Service Technicians, Technical Support Engineer, and the Controls and Process Engineering Departments.
In this role, you will Helps prioritize, update and resolve customer technical support cases Handles small to medium customer requested programming or HMI feature updates Handles escalated customer support issues from service technicians or may field calls and emails directly from customers.
Remote monitoring of customer systems when required Supports service technicians while they are off-site for service or startup and commissioning jobs Supports service technicians during test floor issues and problems when escalated.
Supports parts department in verifying part numbers, setting up devices and components prior to shipping Helps in updating and creating new service procedures and documentation Provides support to the service technicians while they field afterhours calls, which can include working with the customer and/or remote troubleshooting when escalated during all afterhours times What's in it for you? Technical Diploma or Associate degree or at least 5 years of demonstratable experience Ability to comprehend and compose instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Strong Mathematical skills.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent Must have a passion for helping customers resolve issues.
Excellent customer service skills Experience with PLCs, HMI and historian systems, including hardware setup and programming.
Experience in process systems, including pumps, valves, pneumatics and process instrumentation.
Can read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and P&ID diagrams.
Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
