Summary:
The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for the coaching, leading, and implementation of operational process improvements utilizing the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager provides hands on training & coaching in lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Line/Cell Design, Single Piece Flow, Material Flow, Visual Management, SMED, TPM, Root Cause Problem Solving, etc.
) and tools to eliminate waste in all operations functions.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager leads the deployment of the business system tools and standards in the manufacturing or distribution facility in alignment with the corporate Continuous Improvement team.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Manger will be responsible for challenging conventional thinking, mentoring CI project leaders as well as assembling team to support tactical efforts while serving as both a team leader and a coach.
The Senior CI Manager will lead a team of Industrial Engineers to accomplish organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Coach, direct, and promote a culture of continuous improvement utilizing Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Line/Cell Design, Single Piece Flow, Material Flow, Visual Management, SMED, TPM, Root Cause Problem Solving, etc.
) and the GMSDesigns and directs the work of the team.
Mentor and guide facility team members and peers in the understanding, use and implementation of Lean principles and tools.
Selects, coaches and develops staff.
Sets clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team.
Manages performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary.
Provide leadership of continuous improvement projects, events, and activities in facilityTrain, coach, and deploy lean principles, standards, and tools developed by corporate Continuous Improvement teamOther Duties as assigned and the following:
Participate in the development of standards and programs with the corporate Continuous Improvement team.
Participate in the development and implementation of facility strategic plans and initiatives.
Facilitate the flow of information sharing of best practices and external benchmarks.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experienceo 7 years Continuous Improvement or Lean management experience in a manufacturing environment o 3 years' leadership experienceo Experience using Toyota Production System, Danaher Business System, or Shingo Prize methodology, or similar PREFERRED
Qualifications:
o 7 years of demonstrated implementation experience in Lean principleso Lean, Operations or Supply Chain Certificationso Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systemo Demonstrated experience in flow principles, Kanban, and plan for every part (PFEP)o Demonstrated experience in project leadership with a diversity of team skillsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Up to 10% domestic travel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
